yes, i have been very bad about keeping up with my blog. i have failed to make it a must-do and have let it fall through the cracks.

airline update: so far no satisfaction in my quest to have my elite status reinstated with Northwest www.nwa.com after i lost it due to deceptive practices on the part of their partnerContinental www.continental.com. in fact, they didn't even reply to my complaint email. i'm not giving up. i sent a letter to the head of WorldPerks Mr. Bob Soukup. the least i could do since he sent me a christmas card. plus, Continental screwed me again. they only gave me half miles on a trip to atlanta AFTER I PAID THE FEE TO BE PUT IN A FARE CLASS THAT WOULD GUARANTEE ME ALL MY MILES. these people have no shame and no mercy.
thought i might get a response on my obama column but i guess no one reads this thing. now that he's running for prez i guess it's even more timely.
Annoyances, peeves, things that people, companies and governments do that even "cosmically ignorant" is too small a phrase to adequately describe.

Craigslist for finding things and a lot of communications related stuff like Daily Dog. I went on MySpace once but realized I fit the demographic profile of a pedophile so I never went back. Besides, at my age you could only be interested in MySpace if you're a pedophile. I'm new to blogging so I'm in my exploratory phase.

I read your blog. I did see your comment about Barack and my initial thought was that it was very opinionated -- you didn't hold back a bit. I was also surprised at your level of surprise, considering one of our most popular and revered presidents was an actor in his previous "career." Guess I was feeling too shy to comment.
Re: the airlines, I don't know what to tell you. As a former airline employee, all I can say is that the airlines are losing money and really can't afford to reward loyalty. Would be much worse if an airline went out of business. Greater impact on the economy....thousands of jobs lost, loans on planes defaulting, unused airport space, less traffic, etc.
Besides adding my unsolicited two cents, mostly I wanted to reassure you that your blog is being read.
